Building Digital Health Community: Going Global to Local at the Global Digital Health Forum

Nov 12, 2016

Digital health technologies are becoming pervasive globally. As smart phones become health platforms and health data flows securely to and from the cloud, global health is being transformed. Innovation in digital health is not limited to the first world countries; smart innovation in low resource settings informs global innovation in health and healthcare by demonstrating simple solutions which have an impact, whether it is the creative use of texting, interoperable health information systems or mobile education for community health workers and citizens.  Sharing salient digital health insights only makes the global digital health community stronger – from program manager to field data collector.
