8th Annual Connected Health Conference to Focus on Consumer-Centered, Technology-Enabled and Collaborative Approach to Improving Health

Hosted by the Personal Connected Health Alliance (PCHAlliance), the Connected Health Conference will take place December 11-14, 2016, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Washington, DC, focusing on the theme “Personal Connected Health for All: Expanding Reach, Accelerating Impact.” Formerly the mHealth Summit, the Connected Health Conference was renamed to better reflect an increasingly consumer-centered, technology-enabled and collaborative approach to improving health and wellness.

The 2016 Connected Health Conference will showcase the research, evidence, best practices and practical skills supporting positive health outcomes, and promote a collective call to action to reimagine health and wellbeing.   • Four content tracks addressing Consumerizing and Personalizing Connected Health; Building a Collaborative Paradigm for Personal Connected Health; Personal Connected Health in Practice; and Personal Connected Health Frameworks
  • 3rd annual Global Digital Health Forum featuring mobile and connected health programs transforming health delivery in low and middle income countries (LMICs)
  • Special focus on 'All in One Day' precision medicine, highlighting the capability to diagnose, sequence and develop a personalized treatment plan for cancers and other genetically-linked conditions within a 24-hour period.   • Startup Showcase featuring 70 new and emerging companies as well as the incubator and accelerator programs; and four Accelerator Hubs highlighting corporate innovation, to foster entrepreneurs, companies and new technologies to address healthcare delivery challenges
  • Connected Health Pavilion showcasing technology solutions using gaming, mobile, telehealth, patient engagement technologies
  • Canada-US Connected Health Workshop bringing together stakeholders and government agencies from the US and Canada to identify common goals and foster greater regulatory harmonization in mobile health.
  • Wearables & Things Conference featuring the world’s leading device, platform and app publishers focused on the healthcare industry, and Exo Health Winter Summit, the essential event for those seeking to drive exponential transformation through the use of new technologies and platforms.
  • Demos and interactive events showcasing the latest wearable devices and trackers, mobile apps, smart watches and implantable sensors; remote monitoring technologies and population health management strategies for healthcare providers, payers and consumers
  • Cybersecurity strategies to address HIPAA regulations, risk management, cybercrime and more
  • Regulation and policy considerations, and reimbursement reform
