  • We see it in drug development, as pharma companies are using mobile apps to collect patient-generated data; and devices monitor symptoms or adverse events during clinical trials. 
  • We see it in technology companies like Philips, using consumer-centric design to create devices for diabetes and sleep apnea. 
  • We see it in consumer device companies marketing health and activity trackers and devices, constantly adding features and improving their online presence with more intuitive dashboards and interactive tools, to enhance consumer adoption and 'stickiness.' 
  • We see it in pharmacies like Walgreens and CVS, who are changing the way consumers access healthcare services.
  • And we see consumers demanding more from those apps and devices to track their health, wellness and daily activity to improve their quality of life and overall wellbeing.
